1) Demonstrate rehearsal skills to include ensemble precision, intonation, sight-reading, sound, and style (PSLO 1,2,3,4) 2) Demonstrate an understanding of appropriate repertoire (PSLO 1,3,4) 3) Demonstrate appropriate improvisational ability (PSLO 1,4) 4) Demonstrate an understanding of basic performance techniques (PSLO 1,2,3,4) 5) Identify all main ideas, supporting details, and vocabulary in reading material; demonstrate a full understanding of the reading; (PSLO Alpha) |

Rehearsal Attendance 20% Rehearsal Preparation 25% * Performances 30% Attitude 15% Final 10% * If a student misses a scheduled performance they may receive a failing grade for the course. Instructor will exercise discretion in these matters. |

Attendance Policy | You get one 1 free absence before your lates/absences start to count against your grade in the attendance category. After that, each unexcused absence deducts 10% of your attendance grade. Three lates/early departures will count as one absence. | ||||||||||
